How to get there
Some North Americans consider Montreal to be the continent’s Paris, but without the jetlag. Montreal Trudeau Airport and surrounding area do little to justify such a billing. But the centre does have an old world charm. To get there, a taxi will take about 25 minutes and charge a flat C$38 (US$31). An airport shuttle is cheaper, at C$14, but takes twice as long and will only drop you off at the downtown bus station.
