Obama signals tough stance on Doha

Barack Obama’s administration signalled it would take a tough line in global trade negotiations on Monday, saying the Doha round of talks was tilted against the US.

The US trade representative office’s annual report on the trade policy agenda came as Ron Kirk, the president’s pick to head the department, became the ­latest Obama nominee to face tax questions during the confirmation process.
