Mobile manga signals data potential

Tokyo’s hard-pressed office workers have one thing less to do in the morning rush to catch their crowded commuter train, thanks to a useful advance in mobile handset technology.

They no longer have to swing by the local convenience store to buy a manga, one of Japan’s fantastical comic books. Instead they can download and read them, frame by frame, by mobile.
