Metronet workers vote for strike

Workers have voted overwhelmingly to strike in an effort "to defend their jobs" at Metronet, the failed contractor responsible for maintaining more than two-thirds of the London Underground.

Metronet went into administration last month after securing only £121m of the £551m emergency funding it needed to keep operating.
