Helicopters are one area of aviation that is reaping a benefit from the steep rise in the price of oil.
Eurocopter took 73 firm bookings for aircraft in the oil and gas sector last year – a rise of 42 per cent over the previous year – as higher oil and gas prices made previously uneconomic, remote or deepwater exploration sites worth looking at again.
