Whistle-blowing allegations brought against Nomura by a former City bond salesman, Simon Hussey, have failed at a London employment tribunal.
The three-person panel at the London Central tribunal yesterday rejected Mr Hussey's claim that his dismissal was due to "protected disclosures" which the salesman had made about a large collaterised debt obligation deal done for a hedge fund manager, and the way in which underwriting authorisation was obtained.
