Iran bank seeks foreign investor

Bank Melli, Iran’s largest lender, is seeking a foreign buyer to take a stake of up to 25 per cent in its equity investment arm, Bank Melli Iran Investment Company.

BMIIC, listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange with a market capitalisation of about $420m (€275m, £210m), would provide an investor with broad exposure to the Iranian economy.
