EU to help China curb coal-fired emissions

China and the European Union are on the verge of announcing a big investment into new technology for reducing the greenhouse gas emissions from coal-fired power stations.

The announcement, expected to come from the EU-China summit on Monday, is significant as it could help cut the carbon dioxide produced by China.
