TOUGH AT THE TOP - ESPECIALLY IN EUROPE

Some 18 per cent of chief executives at European companies left their posts last year compared with 10 per cent in North America and 16 per cent in the Asia-Pacific region, writes Andrew Taylor in London.

This is a near reversal of 2005, when 18 per cent of chief executives at North American companies vacated their posts, compared with 15 per cent in Europe and 15 per cent in Asia.
