Unilever investors seek change

Investors in Unilever are set to push the group to reinvent the way it operates, once Paul Polman, the incoming chief executive, joins the consumer group next week.

All Unilever’s top shareholders contacted by the Financial Times said they expected Mr Polman – who formally takes over from Patrick Cescau at the end of the year – to drive the group harder and produce stronger sales and profits growth.
