Ready, willing and able to capitalise on Europe's ETF fest

Barclays Global Investors can fairly claim to have cracked the market for exchange traded funds in the US with a hefty $234bn in assets under management in its iShares range.

So not unreasonably two years ago it decided to have a crack at the European market, parachuting in a company veteran Chris Sutton to take charge and promising resources aplenty.
