Wealthy think twice about breaking up

Soaring payouts by rich men to their estranged wives have helped drive the divorce rate down to its lowest level for a quarter of a century.

Huge and well-publicised court orders in favour of ex-spouses have given pause for thought to some super-wealthy individuals who might otherwise have ended their marriages, divorce lawyers say.
