UK Lord Mandelson has warned against rushing into regulation of the internet ahead of a government report next month that aims to prepare Britain for a leading role in the global digital economy.
“Crude, clumsy action coming from the government I don’t think has a place,” the business secretary told an audience at the Google Zeitgeist conference in Hertfordshire on Monday.
