Steel unions confirmed on Thursday they had considered plans to cut the pay of Corus’s 25,000 strong UK workforce by 10 per cent.

As reported in the Financial Times on Thursday, the unions – Community, Unite and the GMB – said they had discussed a range of options, including a possible pay cut.
