Investors remain wary despite strong earnings

Signs of fatigue began to emerge on Wall Street yesterday after its strong gains last week, in spite of further reassuring news from the US financial sector and relatively steady oil prices.

Bank of America, the second-largest US bank by market value, followed the lead set by Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase by reporting forecast-beating quarterly earnings.
