Argentina hopes to settle debts

Argentina is considering proposals to resolve a long-running dispute with its international creditors to regain access to global capital markets, economy minister Amado Boudou said on Monday.

Speaking ahead of this week’s G20 presidential summit in Pittsburgh, which will be attended by Argentine president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, Mr Boudou said the context was “favourable” for a resolution.
