ABI arrival

The Association of British Insurers has appointed Australian Kerrie Kelly as its new director-general, succeeding Stephen Haddrill who leaves this month for the Financial Reporting Council.

A former lawyer, Ms Kelly is currently head of the Insurance Council of Australia. She takes up her role in February next year, and ABI director Maggie Craig will be the acting director-general in the interim period.
