Concern over Eskom as chairman quits

One of South Africa’s most prominent business leaders on Monday resigned as chairman of Eskom, increasing concern in the private sector about the management of the giant state-owned electricity utility.

Bobby Godsell, a former chief executive of Anglo Gold Ashanti, resigned after the company’s board unsuccessfully pressed chief executive Jacob Maroga to leave.
