Embraer: The worst may be over

Brazilians following the fortunes of Embraer could be forgiven for thinking the company was coasting through the economic crisis.

Its runways are busy, with the world’s biggest producer of small planes delivering aircraft to several new customers in 2009, including Lufthansa and British Airways, which took delivery of the first of 11 mid-sized aircraft for its BA CityFlyer line.
