Eurostar’s relocation lifts ticket sales

Passenger numbers at Eurostar, the cross-Channel high-speed train operator, were 18 per cent higher in the first half of this year than last year as improved journey times and more convenient connections at its new London terminus boosted demand.

The operator – which runs most of its trains between London and either Paris or Brussels – saw particularly strong increases in sales of joint tickets with UK train operators serving places convenient for its new St Pancras International terminus.
