Gary Kaplan, the founder of BetonSports and a fugitive from US justice, has been arrested in the Dominican Republic after a manhunt lasting more than eight months.

The 48-year-old former New York bookmaker, who set up the online sports gambling company, is charged with fraud, racketeering and tax evasion related to BetonSports operations in the US.
