Tests link girl’s death to existing illness

Health officials said on Tuesday night an “underlying medical condition” was likely to have caused the death of a 14-year-old girl shortly after she received a cervical cancer vaccination.

The publicity generated by the case has raised fears for the forthcoming pandemic swine flu vaccination ­campaign.
