Mongolia’s rival parties plan shadow cabinet

Mongolia’s Democratic and Civil Will parties have rejected calls to join a proposed “government of national unity” and instead plan to set up what would be the steppeland democracy's first shadow cabinet.

The decision by the two groups is a setback to the plans of the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary party, which sparked a political furore when it pulled out of a previous coalition administration last week.
