Paraguay’s Lugo admits to fathering child

Fernando Lugo, who left the priesthood to become president of Paraguay, on Monday admitted to having a two-year-old son.

Mr Lugo, whose election in April last year ended 61 years of one-party rule, made his surprise Easter Monday admission after lawyers for the child’s mother filed a paternity suit last week.
