The government’s star witness in the fraud trial of Conrad Black could be brought back to Chicago to face more questions from the British peer’s lawyers after questions were raised about his earlier sworn statements.

Attorneys for Lord Black, who is accused of committing a $60m fraud at Hollinger International, have asked Judge Amy St Eve to force David Radler to answer questions about a Canadian parole attorney he allegedly hired in 2004.
