ScS tries to assuage nervous investors

ScS Upholstery tried to play down investor fears over its financial health after a torrid week in which shares in the sofa specialist lost nearly two-thirds of their value.

The group on Sunday admitted that it was looking at ways of raising additional capital, as working capital was strained following the withdrawal of credit insurance from the market.
