Alan Miller, one of the City's highest profile fund managers during his days at Jupiter and New Star, has returned to the investment world after a two-year absence. Mr Miller, 44, has become a partner at SilverStreet Capital, a small London fund of hedge funds manager with ambitions to expand rapidly via acquisition across alternative asset classes.
Having co-founded New Star Asset Management with John Duffield in 2001, Mr Miller left for a sabbatical in the summer of 2006 after fighting an acrimonious and highly public divorce battle.
