Southern Cross delays £275m IPO

Southern Cross Healthcare, the UK's biggest nursing home group, last night delayed its forthcomingflotation due to volatile equity market conditions.

The Blackstone portfolio company, which was looking to raise about £275m in an initial public offering valuing the business at £550m to £600m, had been due to begin its investor roadshow next week.
