Ugandan president attacks ‘foreign meddlers’

Yoweri Museveni, Ugandan president, on Tuesday lashed out at “foreign meddlers” who sought to dictate the country’s development projects and political affairs.

At the closing rally of his campaign for re-election in Thursday’s presidential poll, Mr Museveni appeared to direct his attack particularly at the World Bank, which Uganda relies on to help finance vital power projects.
