Cameron finds Czech mates for Europe bloc

Margaret Thatcher's "favourite other" European leader, the eurosceptic Czech President Václav Klaus, is set to become a key continental ally for David Cameron's new-look Conservative party.

Mr Klaus's rightwing Civic Democrats (ODS) are preparing to join a new free-trade, Atlanticist bloc in the European parliament with the Tories following elections in the Czech Republic this weekend.
