Matthews’ big fightback

Noel Bartram looks so pleased with the large display pictures of his new Bernard Matthews cooked meats and frozen food range it seems unkind to ask the turkey producer’s chief executive if he ever questioned whether it was a brand worth saving.

After all, the 58-year-old company has to be one of Britain’s most infamous household food brands.
