Brazilian to oversee InBev’s Bud

InBev, the world’s largest brewer, has appointed a company veteran, Louis Fernando Edmond, to oversee its North America operations after it completes its expected $52bn takeover of Anheuser-Busch, the brewer of Budweiser, later this year.

Mr Fernando joined the brewers Brazilian operations in 1990, and is currently chief executive of AmBev, its Latin American subsidiary, overseeing operations in Brazil, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, Central America and the Dominican Republic.
