Report says high tax stifling Australian growth

Australia's economic growth is under threat because uncompetitive levels of corporation tax are stifling the country's businesses, according to a report published on Monday.

The Business Council of Australia, a lobby group for the nation's leading 100 companies, published an analysis showing Australian businesses face the third highest effective tax burden in the developed world, after Norway and Luxembourg.
