DFJ Esprit sees venture capital asset sales

The head of UK technology investor DFJ Esprit believes the cloud hanging over the venture capital industry has a silver lining.

Fresh from completing a £130m deal to buy the bulk of 3i’s venture capital portfolio at a big discount, Simon Cook said the financial crisis was likely to force other venture capital assets to be put up for sale.
