Further transparency sought on CDS prices

The push by regulators for increased public information about credit default swaps and other over-the-counter derivatives will be extended to demands for more information about derivatives prices.

The continued widespread use of credit default swaps as a measure of creditworthiness means that more detail needs to be available on the prices at which CDS contracts trade, according to a regulator.
