Artemis is braced for opposition on VC trusts

Shareholders are being urged to reject a proposal for the merger of two venture capital trusts managed by Artemis, the UK fund manager.

Martin Churchill, editor of the Tax Efficient Review, will argue today that the performance fees for the proposed new company, which would have more than £40m in net assets, are not in the best interests of shareholders.
