UK-Saudi Eurofighter deal is boost for BAE

Eurofighter secured its first significant export order on Wednesday, when Britain agreed a deal worth up to £10bn ($17.4bn, €14.7bn) to replace Saudi Arabia’s fleet of Tornado fighter aircraft.

The agreement comes almost 20 years after the UK first signed the controversial Al Yamamah arms deal with Saudi Arabia in Britain’s biggest ever export deal.
