Lured by town's technological attractions

Neil Thompson's software company has seen its turnover grow by 600 per cent in the past four years as businessmen and women increasingly use Blackberrys to work remotely from the plane, train or automobile.

His company, AppSwing, has developed technology that can download information from a central database to a hand-held device, enabling executives to keep on top of anything, from simple invoices to detailed new business contracts, while travelling.
