Frozen N Korea funds finally released

Pyongyang will have to shut down its main nuclear reactor and provide a list of all its nuclear programmes almost immediately, after authorities on Tuesday cleared the way for millions of dollars in frozen funds to be returned to North Korea.

With the next deadline for February’s ambitious North Korean denuclearisation agreement coming on Saturday, the onus is now on Kim Jong-il’s regime to complete its part of the deal.
