Talk about safe sex helps beat disease, Indians told

India, with the world's second-largest number of HIV/Aids cases, must shed its inhibitions about discussing safe sex to check the spread of the disease.

"Leading a healthy and safe sexual life is a commitment we must all make," Manmohan Singh, the prime minister, told a group of youth leaders in the capital, New Delhi, yesterday in a speech to mark World Aids Day.
