President Barack Obama has announced a slew of key advisers and cabinet appointments, including former Clinton staffer Leon Panetta as CIA chief, Nobel laureate Stephen Chu as energy secretary and former rival Hillary Clinton as secretary of state. Defence secretary Robert Gates will remain in the top spot at the Pentagon.
