Bosnia-Herzegovina reform package rejected

Senior western diplomats said on Tuesday they were open to other proposals after Bosnia-Herzegovina’s political leaders rejected a constitutional reform package put forward by the US and European Union.

James Steinberg, US assistant secretary of state, Carl Bildt, foreign minister of Sweden, and Olli Rehn, EU enlargement minister, expressed disappointment at the lack of progress since their last visit to open multiparty talks 10 days ago.
