A recession is said to be the perfect time to start up a business. But is it also the moment to plan selling one?

Coutts, the private bank, claims that most entrepreneurs are already looking for their route to pastures new. It interviewed 127 owner-manager clients and found that 54 per cent ponder the best way to offload their business on a daily or weekly basis while 71 per cent consider their exit at least once a month.
