More defeats for Blair terror policy in Lords

The House of Lords on Tuesday delivered further blows to the government’s anti-terror policies by opting for Tory proposals inserting a “sunset clause” into the Prevention of Terrorism Bill, meaning it would expire at the end of November.

Peers also voted to give more rights to supects under control orders.
