Football crowds on losing streak

Premiership attendances and average match television viewing figures are set to drift down this season, in a further sign that football's explosive growth has come to an end.

With one round of matches to go, tomorrow, aggregate crowds for England's top division are set to drop below 13m for the first time since 2000-01.
