Weak electronics sales hit CSR revenues

CSR’s revenues halved in the first three months of 2009 as sales on weak sales of mobile handsets and other devices that use its wireless bluetooth chips.

However, the Cambridge-based company said it expected revenues to rise in the second quarter as destocking by consumer electronics retailers eased, and it began to benefit from new customer wins.
