Digital radio gains UK listeners

The latest UK radio audience figures from Rajar show that digital platforms continue to gain listeners, helping radio’s reach to increase 1 percentage point to 90 per cent of the population.

Digital’s share of total radio listening reached 17.8 per cent in the first three months of the year, up from 16.6 per cent in the quarter to December 2007 and 15.0 per cent in the period before that.
