Zagreb welcomes positive EU signals

Croatia welcomed the positive signals it received on Wednesday in the European Union’s latest annual progress report on potential south-eastward enlargement.

Jadranka Kosor, prime minister, said she was confident the remaining hurdles could be cleared without further delays, making this the last pre-accession report from Brussels on the former Yugoslav country, which has had official candidate status since 2004.
