With the arrest of Alberto Fujimori in Chile this week, three of Peru’s main political figures of the past decade are now behind bars.

Mr Fujimori, the former president who ended his self-imposed exile in Japan on Sunday by turning up unexpectedly in Chile and promptly being taken into custody, is charged with 21 offences in Peru.
