Yahoo seeks boost from ad sales system

Yahoo has unveiled a platform it hopes will revolutionise online advertising and boost its value in the face of Microsoft’s renewed takeover efforts.

The internet company said it planned a third quarter launch for AMP, which was aimed at simplifying significantly the process of buying and selling adverts online.
